Little Red Riding Mouse

I finshed this little one this morning. She's just a hair under 3 inches tall, including her ears.  I learned a few more things about Apoxy Sculpt while sculpting her hands and feet. Denatured alcohol works better than water for smoothing and the best time to apply the clay to the wire is with in 15 minutes of mixing. It seems to adhere better then. I also made a couple of little apples and a piece of cheese from Apoxy Sculpt for her goodie basket. They were shaded using Prismacolor colored pencils and markers. The basket was made from tiny pine needles, It was kind of difficult to stitch.

Little Red Riding Hood will be listed tonight at 6:45 pm PST. Her reserve price is $135.00 and her Buy It Now is $224.00.  20% from the sale will go to Old Dog Haven ~.a senior doggie hospice and rescue

She is really wonderful, You are a jack of all trades even making her basket, I am so impressed with that. Thanks for the epoxy sculpt tips. I will use them

Hi Joanne, Thanks for the compliment. I was very fortunate to have a skilled Pomo basket weaver teach me a few things. Her name is Donna Poe. She does the most wonderful tiny baskets. In return I taught her a beading techniques that I learned from an Apache friend. It's kind of like the gift that keeps on giving. It's nice to see how your talents can help others. I'm very greatful for all of my teachers and inspirations.
