I just finished this little guy and his strawberry, yesterday. The strawberry was hand-dyed. It doesn't show up too well in this photo. But the color graduates from a deep red near the tip to a lighter red with a hint of light yellow and green. near the top. The seeds are tiny size 15 beads. They were the perfect color with a cream colored center with a yellow clear glass overlay. I've had these beads for quite a few years. I never knew when I purchased them that they would come in handy for strawberry seeds. If you ever get the chance to travel to Northern California, you should check out Out On A Whim in Cotati. They have the best selection of beads ever. I just found that they have an online store, too ~
http://whimbeads.com/ I used to do a lot of beadwork on leather and they were the only store in Northern California that carried the small size 15 seed beads in a great number of colors and styles. I also used to do a lot of peyote stitch around plastic animals, too. It was quite a bit of fun. But my eyes aren't as good as they used to be.
Little William's eBay auction will begin Sunday night at 6:45pm PST. His reserve price is $135.00.
Thanks for looking,
Robin

Josje, I know I feel pretty guilty when I have to trap the Pack Rats that get into the car and chew the wiring. I've tried live traps. But have since found that it is harder on the poor rat to be relocated.
Soooooooo sweet! Great work!
Hugs... Eileen :)
