Imminent Mother's Day Slaughter of Lakota Horses

I usually keep my blog free from politics, etc. But I recently learned of this through Facebook.  There has been a confiscation and proposed slaughter of the Pine Ridge horses. It's scheduled for Mother's Day. This is really horrible for the horses and for the people. These folks live in some of the poorest conditions in the US and so much has already been taken from them.
