Olivia and My New Toy

Meet little Olivia. She's my latest one for eBay. I hope you like her. It's weird the things that you find in the desert. While out on one of my hikes I spotted an old sardine can from Norway. I cleaned it up and added a little padded headboard and tiny wooden spool feet. I had some beautiful vintage hand printed Hawaiian fabric by Alfred Shaheen that seemed to go nicely with the headboard. All and all, I'm pretty pleased how she turned out.

Now for the bit about my new toy. I bought a Surface RT tablet. Boy is it a time saver! I also get to play around with a program called Fresh Paint. I'll post a pic when I finish a painting. Right now, I'm having so much fun playing! It's also made it a lot quicker to do my blogging. So hopefully, I'll be able to do more than just show pics.

Update: Olivia has sold and will not be on eBay tonight :-)

Oo.. I absolutely adore her!! She's SO amazing!
Just can't get over how talented you are. Big, big fan of you and your works (even that I don't always leave a comment here) - especially love your mice (^^)

Lovely, so cute! By the way, I have an English bull terrier myself, also a rescue (but a bit different kind of a rescue). She's called Kukka (= Flower) and she's my second bull terrier. I love them! Greetings to your Bullet, I hope he recovers well!
