Here's my next little one. She's the first one that I've made polymer clay eyes for. Her eBay auction starts tonight at 6:45 PM PDT.
Also, Alison's pic is now in first place and things are changing quickly as others are rallying their friends for some last minute voting. So please don't forget to vote. tomorrow is tha last day to vote. Here's the link again.
Oh WOW Robin!!! She's incredible! The tabby stripes are perfect. I love her little pink paw pads, lol. And I can't believe what a great job you did on they eyes! They look so real! My clay eyes look horrible - like clay eyes, lol. So I usually have to use glass or gemstone beads of some kind :(
ReplyDeleteplease ignore the typo in the above post - UGH!

Thanks for the compliments Ascension & Fiver!
ReplyDeleteFiver, I'll forgive yours if you'll forgive mine. Sometimes I swear I type with all thumbs like in this post.
You know the key to good eyes is lots and lots of super glossy acrylic varnish. They looked pretty fake until I did that. I usually use glass or stone, too. I like the way the glass looks against the wool.
Ooooh, she's cute cute CUTE!!!!
ReplyDeleteShe is so lovely and perfect.
