Baby Bully ~ 20% Donation to Bull Terrier Rescue
Here's little Molly. Since it's so close to Christmas, I put her on as a Full Price listing. She's a little large for one of my felties at nearly 14 inches long and 7 inches tall to the ear. 20% from her sale will go to Bull Terrier Rescue, Inc. to help pay for Mr. Bullet's expenses. My son, Travis, has taken to calling him Lord Bullington.

Native American Nativity
Here's a not-so-great pic of the Nativity that I painted for some friend's Christmas present. I'm giving it to them tomorrow so they can set up for the holidays. I didn't have time to set it up and do a better picture. I think it looks a lot better in real life.

This painting's auction starts tonight on eBay @ 6:45pm PDT. 100% will be donated to Bull Terrier Rescue to help pay for Bulltet's medical expenses. I will not be able to accept returns on this item because it is a 100% donation which I will pay immediately after I receive payment.
Thanks for your understanding, Robin
Is Santa Here Yet?
This is little Tyler. His auction starts tonight. I started out wanting to do a polar bear and then realised that I didn't have enough white alpaca fiber.

Some Commission Pieces
I just finished these guys a couple of days ago and thought yopu might want to take a peek. Unfortunately my bull terrier painting received no bids and will be put up for auction through eBay. I hope it raises some money to help pay for Bullet's medical expenses. I'll be working on a needle felted polar bear. That'll be in between painting some Native American Nativity figures that I plan to give a friend as a gift. It's a lot more work then I first thought. I'll post pics when I get them done.

Snow, Rain & New Pics of Bullet
Today we had rain mixed with snow and a little bit of sunshine. Bullet went out for a bit when the sun was out. You can see a big improvement from his earlier pics.

Michael, a Little Angel
Well after all that I said in my last post, this little guy's auction is going on the regular time of Sunday at 6:45 PM PDT. The Thanksgiving holiday made impossible to start his auction immediately. This little guy is only 3 inches tall. His wings were sculpted from polymer clay and trimmed turkey feathers were attatched with glue.

Only 39 Days until Christmas!
Christmas is drawing closer. So starting now I will be listing my felties as I finish them instead of the regular Sunday listing time. I'll also be using shorter periods until the auction end. I finished little Taffy this morning and got her listed with a 5 day auction ending this Sunday. She's only 3 1/2 inches tall and comes complete with her needle felted popcorn and cranberry garland. The needle in her hands is permanently affixed and has been blunted.

Baby Bullet
Here's my baby bull terrier. He come comeplete with his handsewn quilt made from scraps leftover from Bullet's winter coat and needle felted tennis ball. He sits at 7 inches tall to his ears. There will be no charity permission letter for this auction. However 20% will be donated to Bull Terrier Rescue, Inc. to help with Bullet's medical expenses. His eBay auction starts tonight at the usual start time of 6:45 PM PDT.
Thanks :-)!

Bullet in his New Winter Coat
Here's a pic of Bullet in his winter jacket that he so patiently let me try on him. I had to hand sew it because my machine refused to sew the fleece. My son say's he looks like he's wearing a giant oven mit. But I hope it will keep him warm this winter. I'm making him an in the house kind of snuggly jacket next. It gets pretty cold here in the desert. Bullet had his second vet visit yesterday. Plus we bought him some more dogfood which he hates. It looked like a really good one. It's called Taste of the Wild and is grain free with venison and buffalo. We bought him the other kind with salmon before which he also detested. I think we'll have to find another brand. He really liked the Triumph dogfood. But I can't seem to find it locally. He's doing better. But had a bit of a relapse with his feet when his course of anti-inflamatory was finished. He now has a 14 day supply and 21 days of antibiotics. Plus he gets a bath twice a week instead of once. Poor guy is really going to love this. But it will be nice to see him with a little more energy! His skin is looking better and he's growing some fur in his bald spots. And as you can tell by the pic my work chair is still his comfy spot.
At present I'm sculpting a bully felty that should be done soon. The auction will have no letter which means 20% will be donated to Bull Terrier Rescue. The painting which I'm donating 100% still has no bids. November 30 is the last day to submit an offer. So please bid now to get a nice painting and to help the bullies :-)!

Kringle
Wow! I can't believe it's daylight savings time already. I can never seem to get used to it getting dark so early! We've had some really strange weather here for November. Just a few days ago it was in the high 80's and yesterday we had rain mixed with snow! I've been busy trying to sew poor Bullet a new winter coat. He's been very patient with his fitting. Pictured in this blog is my next little felty, Kringle. He stands 4 1/4 inches to his ear. It's kind of funny, I start out trying to make my mice smaller and they almost always end up being the same size. His candy cane was sculpted from polymer clay. Kringle's auction starts tonight at the usual time.

Bullet's comfy spot -my work chair |
We picked up bullet on Sunday afternoon. He's such a sweet guy, a real hug bunny. And yesterday, he had his first vet visit with Crestwood Veterinary Clinic. They ran some tests, gave him some new meds to help with his poor raw skin and paws and he got a lovely scarf to wear. He's pretty proud of it. The total bill came to a whopping $539.35! That's just the start to this poor guy's long road to recovery.
So to help the very dedicated and generous people of Bull Terrier Rescue, Inc., I'm offering the painting pictured above as a silent auction with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Bull Terrier Rescue. Here's how it will work. Just email me with your bid. The person with the highest bid wins the piece. I'm accepting bid offers starting now and ending November 30, 2010. The winning bidder will be notified by email on the December1, 2010 and the painting will be shipped to you once payment is received.
I will also be adding new items from time to time for Bullet & Bull Terrier Rescue, Inc. They will be posted on a seperate page on this blog.
